Realistic Magmortar

Well, this drawing started out as just an idea, but then progressed GREATLY!!! First, I wanted to doodle what I thought a Magmortar Halloween Costume would look like. But then, I decided that I felt like drawing a "Field-Notebook" page entry on a Magmortar. I originally drew a pathetic little sketch of a non-detailed one, then adding a magnified and detailed version of its body parts. I started with the right arm that is producing steam, and then I made the big decision that I would just draw a whole, realistic Magmortar. I rather like how it came out! I basically mixed Magmortar with realistic elements of reptiles and birds, adding feathers and scales in the drawing. The drawing... no, sorry... THE SCALES TOOK ME A GOOD 2 HOURS TO DO! The whole drawing itself took about 4, including the terrible scales... ugh...

Well, I hope you like it! I certainly do, as Magmortar's one of my favorite Fire-type Pokemon, excluding Legendary and Starter Pokemon.
